Betrayal of Inquisitor Quivil
Inquisitor Quivil Oleous was famously betrayed by his closet aide. Surrounded by hostile forces on the bridge of the unassuming transport, Hope’s Revenge, Quivil met his gruesome end at the hands of no other than a group of inquisitorial impostors. Whether he knew where their origins and loyalties lay, it’s unknown. His senility and hate for the psyker drove him to near madness. After fusing the ship’s Navigator and command chair into the same molten lump, he turned his inferno pistol on Captain Wayard Cain. The captain held onto life’s tender threads for just a few seconds before, under intense fire, the Inquisitor finished the job. Then, shockingly, the wounded Quivil was nearly finished off by a bolter shell from his closest aide; his supposidly loyal Sororitas Hospitaller acolyte, Sister Serra. Dying and outnumbered, Quivil stole the glory of his death and vaporized himself instantly with his inferno pistol after cursing the crowd.
